DS N°4 SAILGP: PERFORMANCE IN THE COLOURS OF DS AUTOMOBILES SAILGP TEAM FRANCE AT THE ROLEX SWITZERLAND SAIL GRAND PRIX IN GENEVA

- Since January 2026, DS Automobiles has been title partner of the DS Automobiles SailGP Team France squad that competes in the SailGP championship, one of the fastest-growing international sports competitions today
- For the Rolex Switzerland Sail Grand Prix of Geneva, taking place on 19 and 20 September on Lake Geneva, DS Automobiles is unveiling a unique DS N°4 clad in an exclusive livery
- Inspired by DS Automobiles SailGP Team France’s F50 catamaran, this livery transfers the world of high-performance inshore sailing to DS N°4’s curves. It uses the team’s iconic colours, Midnight Blue and Metallic Gold, to create an instant visual link with the boat competing in the SailGP championship
For the Rolex Switzerland Sail Grand Prix of Geneva, to be held on 19 and 20 September on Lake Geneva, DS Automobiles is strengthening its commitment to SailGP Team France by unveiling a unique DS N°4 in an exclusive livery for the occasion. It establishes a bridge between land and water and underlines the values shared by the French premium manufacturer and the French team: design, technological mastery, performance and efficiency.
DS Automobiles and SailGP Team France: a shared vision of performance
The SailGP championship brings together thirteen national teams across thirteen events held in some of the world’s largest cities. After ten meetings since the season opener in Perth, the Rolex Switzerland Sail Grand Prix of Geneva is the eleventh round and final European Grand Prix of 2026. Two further events will follow in the United Arab Emirates with Dubai hosting the penultimate round on 21 and 22 November and the season finale in Abu Dhabi, on 28 and 29 November. Held as close as possible to the spectators on the shore, the regattas feature the F50 catamarans take flight on their foils reaching speeds of more than 62 mph.
This first season in the colours of DS Automobiles has already delivered a benchmark performance. At Sassnitz in August, the French F50 reached 58.11 knots, equivalent to 66.87 mph, setting an outright SailGP speed record. Following the Valencia Grand Prix, DS Automobiles SailGP Team France is in the middle of a closely contested field, with three rounds still to come.
For both an F50 and a DS N°4, performance is about more than outright speed. It is born from the balance between aerodynamics, energy management, precise tuning and the expertise of the development teams. In Geneva, the meeting between DS N°4 and the spectacular world of SailGP provides a tangible expression of this shared vision.
From the F50 to DS N°4: one shared signature of performance
Inspired by the F50 of the DS Automobiles SailGP Team France, the exclusive DS N°4’s livery reinterprets the rules of high-performance inshore sailing in a dynamic and refined way.
The combination of Midnight Blue and Metallic Gold, the team’s iconic colours, creates an immediate visual link with the F50 competing in the championship. The golden lines that run through the bodywork evoke the lines of the F50’s rigid wing, conveying a sense of wind, speed and fluid movement.
The graphic patterns that surround the bodywork evoke the trajectories and data that underpin performance in SailGP. Their progressive density follows the proportion of the DS N°4, while the convergence of the lines creates a sense of forward movement and visually express the flow of air around the car. Together, these elements transform the wind, speed and competitive spirit into an elegant and immediately recognisable visual signature.
DS N°4: a unique multi-energy offering in its segment
A compact saloon with a distinctive design combining elegance, presence and refinement, DS N°4 is the only model in its segment to offer a comprehensive multi-energy range. Available in HYBRID 145, PLUG-IN HYBRID 240 and 100% electric E-TENSE, DS N°4 offers customer the choice of powertrain best suited to their needs.
The same responsible ambition
The SailGP championship is recognised for its commitment to more responsible competition. Through its Impact League, the championship rewards the teams most committed to sustainable development, reducing their environmental footprint and outreach initiatives.
This focus on efficiency and responsible performance continues in the partnership between DS Automobiles and K-Challenge, which develops and operates the F50 for DS Automobiles SailGP Team France. Committed to the same dynamic of innovation, the two partners are exploring new solutions in terms of energy management, aerodynamics and materials. These areas resonate directly with DS N°4, whose elaborate shape, multi-energy offering and in-car technology illustrate the same desire to combine control, efficiency and driving pleasure. Following Formula E, SailGP provides DS Automobiles with another testing ground for the development of its production models.
