DS Automobiles presents its new concept car, DS F3VER, at the Paris Motor Show 2026. Signalling a new chapter for the brand, it features a compact silhouette with an assertive presence, as well as new, distinctly recognisable features.

With DS F3VER, DS Automobiles asserts an uncompromising vision of progress. Through a full-scale design laboratory, the concept explores three complementary themes: desirability, personalisation and everyday freedom.

Designed and developed entirely in-house, DS F3VER showcases the breadth of expertise within DS Automobiles and its team’s ability to convert a shared vision of design and innovation into reality. F3VER is intended to spark an immediate reaction and inform future designs from the brand. Its name expresses this ambition: to create a positive emotion, a fever of desirability and attraction.

“With DS F3VER, we set out to push three fundamental pillars of DS AUTOMOBILES even further: desirability, personalization and freedom. The result is a concept that refuses to be confined by conventional categories. It explores new possibilities, challenges our own codes and illustrates where we want to take DS: towards a brand vision that is more distinctive, more desirable and more daring.”

Xavier CHARDON, DS AUTOMOBILES Chief Executive Officer

DS F3VER: Desire at first glance

Designed to be eye catching, DS F3VER delivers unprecedented proportions, a majestic posture and an instantly recognisable light signature. From its sculptural shape to its most refined details, each element draws from multiple worlds — aeronautics, architecture, digital technology and high-tech objects— to create an expression that’s both technological and decidedly contemporary.

DS F3VER combines both compactness and stature, measuring 4.19m long, 1.85m wide and 1.46m tall. It delivers a remarkably striking presence, within perfectly controlled dimensions.

At the front, the expression of DS F3VER is organised around a vertical illuminated element carrying the brand emblem. The new signature lighting, with its distinctive vertical Y-shaped treatment, brings a strong visual, technological and almost hypnotic appeal. Together, these elements give DS F3VER an instantly recognisable image, day and night.

The rear of DS F3VER also features a matching vertical signature element incorporating the illuminated, digitalised DS emblem at the centre of the bumper and multidimensional lights, creating a spectacular sense of depth. Like a light tunnel, they appear to extend infinitely. They comprise of 16 LED panels supported by an ultra-lightweight magnesium structure inspired by the vaulted roof of the Grand Palais, Paris.

Personalisation as a new form of expression

With DS F3VER, DS Automobiles has made personalisation a key component of its design through colours, materials, graphics and light. A customisable panoramic roof surround has been introduced, a distinctive signature that subtly underlines the elegance of its lines. Designed as a new dimension of personalisation, the customisable roof allows owners to express the unique character of their car.

The use of bi-tone paint on the bodywork plays an integral part in the design. The dividing line between the two colours is deliberately extended towards the rear, up to the lights, and then envelops the tailgate, the sides and the bumper. This new composition changes the perception of volumes, accentuates its compact shape and opens a range of possibilities for personalisation.

Developed specifically for DS F3VER, the Cosmic Blue dichroic colour evolves with the light, shifting from vivid blue to deep violet hues to create a striking effect.

This visual experience extends into the vehicle’s digital world through UX light animations integrated into the rear vertical feature. They fulfil three key purposes: personalising the vehicle through bespoke lighting, creating intuitive interaction between DS F3VER and its environment and conveying information clearly and instantly.

In this way, light becomes a real language, serving both emotional and functional purposes while strengthening the connection between the vehicle and its users. Colours, materials, graphics and animations together create a cohesive experience, to give each DS a distinctive identity.

Personalisation extends to the wheels of DS F3VER where a geometric design creates a structure that is both light and strong. Chiselled champagne-coloured accents and discreet ‘Clous de Paris’ guilloché detailing emphasise the refinement of DS F3VER.

“The Paris motor show enables us to share our new design directions with the public and inform our future creations. DS F3VER explores new territories of expression through design serving personalisation, a front-end identity that breaks with current standards, and a ‘design intelligence’ approach intended to reduce the number of components. This process simplifies and accelerates development while enhancing perceived quality and the purity of the lines.”

Thierry METROZ, DS Automobiles Design Director

The freedom to meet every moment in life

Designed to adapt effortlessly into everyday life and weekend escapes, DS F3VER combines urban agility, versatility and comfort typically associated with larger vehicles. Its generous wheelbase delivers class-leading interior space, stability and comfort, while its 400-litre boot further enhances its everyday usability.

DS F3VER manages daily journeys, long distance travel and weekend getaways with equal ease. It signals a new generation of electric vehicles that combines comfort, class-leading range and freedom of use.

‘Design Intelligence’: creating more with less

Designed around efficiency, DS F3VER embodies a ‘Design Intelligence’ philosophy that now guides the work of the brand’s design teams: to create uniqueness with less. This approach aims to reduce the number of components, lighten vehicle architecture, optimise aerodynamics and enhance the perceived quality through refined surfaces and less visible components.

On DS F3VER, this philosophy is reflected in a seamless front lighting signature combining the headlamp and daytime running light, one-piece bumpers and the removal of unnecessary elements around the wheel arches and lower body. Each solution serves aesthetic, technical, industrial and environmental objectives, resulting in a smoother, more sculptural silhouette where simplicity becomes a source of sophistication.

The latest digital tools and artificial intelligence solutions developed by Stellantis support this approach, enabling designers to explore and evaluate concepts more quickly, while dedicating more time to their development. Artificial intelligence does not replace creativity: it expands the scope for exploration and helps accelerates the design process.

DS F3VER brings ‘fever’ to the Paris Motor Show

Presented at the heart of the DS Automobiles stand, beneath the dome of the Paris Motor Show, DS F3VER promises to give visitors ‘fever’. They will be able to extend the experience through an unprecedented web application enabling them to create, personalise and share selfies with the concept.
