DS AUTOMOBILES HEADS TO BERLIN E-PRIX WITH AMBITION AND DETERMINATION

• DS Automobiles will tackle rounds seven and eight of ABB FIA Formula E World Championship Season 12 this weekend in Berlin
• The DS PENSKE team will be able to rely on the drive and motivation of its German driver Maximilian Günther for this particularly important mid-season fixture
• The French-American partnership can also count on the talent of the young Taylor Barnard, on the hunt for his first FE victory

The Tempelhof circuit, laid out over the German capital’s former international airport, will host the Berlin E-Prix from 2-3 May.

An ever-present fixture on the all-electric series calendar since 2015, this is one of the most demanding circuits of the season. With a notoriously abrasive surface, it will once again pose a huge challenge for the 10 teams on the grid – which will have to focus on optimal tyre and energy management.

Following a mixed start to the season, the DS PENSKE team heads to Berlin with the aim of rediscovering its performance, driven by the talent and complementary skills of its two drivers.

Driving the DS E-TENSE FE25 cars developed by the competition arm of DS Automobiles will be Maximilian Günther (seven wins in FE including one in Berlin in 2020) and his British teammate Taylor Barnard (seven podiums, still in pursuit of his first FE victory): both on a mission to fly the flag high for the premium French constructor and aim for the top places.

The races will take place on Saturday and Sunday at 15:00 BST.
