Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles opens UK order books for top-of-the-range Transporter Sportline

Milton Keynes, UK, 1 April 2026 – Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has opened the order books to UK customers for the new, top-of-the-range Transporter Sportline.

The new Sportline variant is available in Panel van and Kombi configurations, with a choice of wheelbase and diesel or electric powertrains – with eHybrid to follow – offering customers the ultimate flexibility to suit their needs. 

Already an icon among performance-led vans, the new Transporter Sportline combines premium touches and a suite of exclusive design enhancements for a look that is immediately identifiable.

Prices start at £51,105 (excluding VAT)¹ for the Transporter Sportline Panel Van, and £53,085 (excluding VAT)¹ for the Transporter Sportline Kombi model.

Exterior features include Sportline-specific bumpers, a rear spoiler, gloss black grille, a 29mm lowered suspension, exclusive 19-inch dual-finish alloy wheels, and a Sportline signature red grille accent.

Inside, the new Sportline benefits from embossed, hand-crafted eco-leather sports seats with red stitching, Sportline-branded floor mats and high-gloss black display surrounds for a premium, driver-centered cabin.

To celebrate order books opening, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles is offering a number of compelling finance deals across the new Transporter line-up, with first deliveries expected in May 2026. The new Transporter Sportline Panel Van SWB 170PS 2.0TDI 8-Speed Auto is available on a Solutions Personal Contract Plan for just £589 per month², which includes a £5,000 deposit contribution from Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles.²

The entire Transporter line-up also includes Volkswagen’s enhanced warranty and service plan, the 5+ Promise, at no extra cost. This comprises five services – three services for electric models – three MOTs, a five-year Warranty and five years’ Roadside Assistance.³
