  • Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles’ award-winning ID. Buzz named ‘Best Used Electric MPV’ at last night’s What Car? Electric Car Awards
  • Judges praised the vehicle’s comfort and style as “one of the most practical MPVs you can buy”

Milton Keynes, UK, 3 September 2026 – Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles’ all-electric ID. Buzz was named ‘Best Used Electric MPV’ at the What Car? Electric Car Awards, judged by a team of expert road testers and editorial staff.

The award recognises the ID. Buzz as the benchmark for a spacious, premium people carrier, with judges highlighting in particular the vehicle’s practicality paired with its strong design.

With a range of trim lines to choose from, the ID. Buzz is now available in 5-, 6-, or 7-seater options, with an all-electric range of up to 300 miles (combined range, WLTP), and an impressive 2,496 litres of luggage capacity, the versatility of the ID. Buzz makes it a strong choice for a variety of uses.

Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles Approved Used programme ensures every vehicle that leaves the showroom is up to the same standard as a new vehicle. A Volkswagen expert technician carries out a multi-point check of all vehicles, and each comes with the reassurance of a 12-month warranty1 and Roadside Assistance1.

Commenting on the award, What Car? judges said: “The Volkswagen ID Buzz is one of the biggest and most practical MPVs you can buy (and we’re not just talking about electric ones). It also offers the comfort and refinement of a luxury SUV. And although we don’t award marks for style, it undoubtedly has this in spades, which brings further tangible benefits in the form of strong resale values and competitive finance rates.”
