DACIA PREPARES TO MAKE ITS FIRST APPEARANCE AT THE FAMOUS KENDAL MOUNTAIN FESTIVAL

Dacia, the car brand driven by adventure, is heading out to its first Kendal Mountain Festival 2026, the world’s largest gathering of outdoor communities and cultures.

Fresh from supporting the Kendal Mountain 2026 UK Tour – a nationwide celebration of remarkable feats of exploration on film - earlier this year, Dacia is now heading to the main event this November.

Kendal Mountain Festival’s roots reach back to 1980, when it was a simple two-day climbing film event in Kendal, the spiritual home of the UK outdoors. Today, it attracts the biggest names, brands, and films in the adventure world, and around 25,000 visitors each year.

Perhaps most important of all is the Festival’s commitment to making the outdoors more accessible to all. Not only does the event bring incredible stories and record-breaking athletes within reach of the public, but it provides a space for anyone with an interest in adventure to learn, grow, and leave with a head full of inspiration.

To celebrate this huge event and the shared values of Dacia and Kendal Mountain Festival, Dacia is entering the events programme with the first-ever Dacia Drive-In Cinema.

The big-screen moment will make its home in the car park of the Festival’s cultural hub, The Brewery Arts Centre, and give festivalgoers a one-of-a-kind, elevated cinematic experience from the comfort of one of ten parked Dacia vehicles. Films available to watch at the Dacia Drive-In Cinema include ‘The Oldest Munro Bagger’, a selection of family-friendly short films, ‘A WeTwo Adventure: ‘Planting Seeds Not Flags’’ with Dwayne Fields and Phoebe Smith and ‘The Courage To Find Out’ with Dr Sarah Ruggins.

Between screenings, the Dacia Drive-In Cinema will continue to come alive with talks, activities, workshops, and more for visitors to explore.
