TWICE AS NICE! DACIA JOGGER SCOOPS DOUBLE VICTORY AT THE AUTO EXPRESS USED CAR AWARDS 2026

- Dacia Jogger wins both ‘Best Used Hybrid Car’ and ‘Best Used Family Car’ at the Auto Express Used Car Awards 2026
- The only model to claim two category victories this year, Jogger also finishes fifth overall in the Used Car of the Year rankings
- Judges praise the versatile seven-seater for its outstanding practicality, everyday usability, excellent value and economical hybrid powertrain
- Double victory follows Jogger’s ‘Best Used MPV’ title at last year’s awards
- Hybrid success reinforces Dacia’s commitment to making electrification accessible, with its futuREady strategy targeting two-thirds electrified sales by 2030
Two awards, seven seats and one winning formula! The Dacia Jogger has doubled up at the Auto Express Used Car Awards 2026, taking home the titles of ‘Best Used Hybrid Car’ and ‘Best Used Family Car’ in recognition of its winning combination of everyday practicality, affordable electrification and outstanding value for money.
The Jogger was the only car to claim two category victories at this year’s awards, also securing a place in the top five in the overall ‘Used Car of the Year’ rankings. The latest accolades build on its success at last year’s awards when it was named ‘Best Used MPV’, underlining the lasting appeal of Dacia’s versatile seven-seater.
Highlighting the extraordinary value offered by the Jogger, Richard Ingram, Deputy Editor, Auto Express, said: “The Jogger represents fantastic value for money. The fact you can lay your hands on a two-year-old, seven-seat Jogger hybrid with 30k miles for less than the price of a new supermini makes you wonder why anyone would splash the cash on a factory-fresh small car.”
DACIA’S AFFORDABLE ELECTRIFICATION THAT MAKES SENSE
The ‘Best Used Hybrid Car’ award recognises the qualities that have made Jogger the ideal introduction to electrified motoring for families looking to keep both purchase prices and running costs under control. Introduced in 2023 as Dacia’s first hybrid model, the Jogger Hybrid 140 combined a 1.6-litre petrol engine with two electric motors to deliver improved fuel economy and smooth, easy-going performance, without the need to plug in.
For used car buyers, it offers the opportunity to enjoy those benefits at an even more accessible price. Auto Express highlighted the potential savings of choosing a lightly used example, praising the hybrid powertrain’s efficiency and refinement alongside Jogger’s already impressive value.
The award also reflects the direction of Dacia’s electrification journey. Under its futuREady strategy, the brand is accelerating the introduction of hybrid and electric technologies across its line-up, with the ambition of making two-thirds of its sales electrified by 2030. It’s a natural evolution of Dacia’s approach: making useful, efficient technology available to more people, without asking them to pay for unnecessary complexity.
ROOM FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY - AND EVERYTHING ELSE
Jogger’s second award win, ‘Best Used Family Car’, celebrates the flexibility that has helped make it a firm family favourite. With seven seats as standard, Jogger offers the space to bring family and friends along for the ride, while its flexible interior is ready for everything from the weekly shop and school run to holidays, camping trips and weekends away.
Remove the third-row seats and fold the second row, and there’s more than 2,000 litres of carrying capacity – plenty of room for luggage, sports equipment or just about anything else family life can throw at it.
Lina Ribeiro, Dacia Brand Director for the UK, said: “Jogger has always been about giving families more of what they really need – more space, more versatility and more freedom to get out and enjoy life, all at a price that makes sense. Winning both awards shows that those qualities are just as valuable when buying used. We’re especially pleased to see its hybrid technology recognised, because making electrification affordable and accessible is such an important part of Dacia’s future. As we accelerate that journey through our futuREady strategy, Jogger is a great example of how we can bring the benefits of electrified driving to more people without compromising on value or practicality.”
Auto Express also highlighted Jogger’s remarkable affordability on the used market, with early examples available from around £10,000, demonstrating just how much space, versatility and everyday usability buyers can get for their money.
