Milton Keynes, 05-10-2026 – CUPRA is expanding the appeal of its all-electric Tavascan range, bringing more choice, new technology and revised pricing to customers for 2026. The expansion includes the introduction of a new 58kWh battery, entry level trim and a number of new technology features.
The refreshed Tavascan line-up introduces a new entry point ‘Origin’ trim and now spans five trim levels – Origin, V1, V2, VZ and VZ Extreme. Customers also have a choice of three powertrain options for a greater choice of performance, specification and range. The new 58kWh 190PS battery available on Origin, V1 and V2, sits alongside existing 77kWh 286PS and 340PS powertrains.
Priced from £39,995 OTR, the new Origin trim opens up the Tavascan range while staying true to the design language and character that defines the model. Standard equipment includes 19-inch ‘VULCANO’ alloy wheels, heated front seats, a 10.25-inch Digital Cockpit and a 15-inch central infotainment display.
Technology remains central to the Tavascan experience, with 2026 variants including Mobile Device Key (from V1), Vehicle-to-Load (V2L, from V1) capability, Launch Control (VZ) and Sennheiser Contrabass (from V2). Across the range, customers can also benefit from a 10.25-inch Digital Cockpit, Android™-powered infotainment system and intelligent climate control, with equipment varying by trim level.
From 1 July, CUPRA has also reduced the price of selected Tavascan orders by up to £1,600. The Tavascan V1 with the 77 kWh 286PS powertrain is now priced at £45,750 OTR, representing a £1,600 reduction. VZ and VZ Extreme also benefit from reductions of £1,060 and £1,005 respectively, bringing their prices to £54,930 and £59,830.
The Tavascan combines distinctive CUPRA design with expanded choice, enhanced technology and revised pricing, making the all-electric SUV coupe more accessible, while retaining the exciting electrified performance and emotional character that defines the model.

Change needs drivers — and CUPRA believes real progress comes through radical disruption, by defying expectations and challenging conventions. Since its launch in 2018, the brand has transformed the automotive industry as an instigator of creativity and an agitator for change.
In just seven years, CUPRA has launched seven models and sold over 1 million vehicles globally. Every CUPRA model is restlessly expressive, design led, and performance driven. Its fully-fledged portfolio includes the CUPRA Ateca, the first car to ever feature the CUPRA badge; the CUPRA Leon, redesigned and enhanced as a standalone CUPRA model; the CUPRA Formentor, the first car to be developed exclusively by the brand and the company’s best-selling vehicle to date; the CUPRA Born, the brand’s first 100% electric vehicle; the CUPRA Tavascan, an all-electric SUV coupe; and the CUPRA Terramar, the brand’s sporty SUV. In 2026, the CUPRA Raval, the brand’s radical interpretation of the electric urban car, will join its lineup.
CUPRA is more than a car. It’s a conviction. The CUPRA Tribe is made up of a team of ambassadors who push back against convention and past the boundaries that hold others back, with members including Spain’s most decorated Olympian, Saúl Craviotto; film director J.A. Bayona; German goalkeeper Marc ter Stegen; and two-time Ballon d'Or and Best FIFA Award-winning footballer Alexia Putellas. Obsessive about elevating emotion on and off the road, CUPRA is also FC Barcelona's official automotive and mobility partner, the Premier Padel Tour's premium sponsor and is also proud to participate in the Formula E racing competition with Kiro Race Co.
