  • Roadshow starts 23 September and ends on 8 October
  • Places available for 20-minute sessions with ID. Polo experts

Milton Keynes – The all-new and all-electric Volkswagen ID. Polo is going on tour this autumn, giving people up and down the country a chance to see the car in the metal before it officially lands in showrooms in November.

The roadshow is visiting London, Milton Keynes, Birmingham, Leeds and Manchester from 23 September to 8 October. Product experts will be on hand from 9am to 5pm to show people around the cars, and places can be booked for dedicated 20-minute sessions, allowing visitors a closer look at the car’s many exciting features and benefits. Click here to check availability and to book places.

The sporty ID. Polo GTI – the first all-electric Volkswagen GTI, arriving 50 years after the original Golf GTI – will also be on display throughout the roadshow, as will the ID. Cross – Volkswagen’s new all-electric compact SUV – in London, Birmingham and Milton Keynes.

New era of Volkswagen cars
The ID. Polo is ushering in a new and exciting chapter for Volkswagen. It’s the first car to be built on the company’s MEB+ platform, which introduces new battery technology, faster charging, improved efficiency and updated software. Another benefit of the MEB+ platform that roadshow visitors will be able to see first-hand is space: the ID. Polo’s front-wheel drive configuration allows for lots of legroom for passengers and a generous 441-litre boot – that’s substantially larger than many of its rivals and an incredible 60 litres more than the current Volkswagen Golf.

The interior marks the beginning of a new blueprint for Volkswagen. It uses the brand’s new Pure Positive design language, with physical controls and easy-to-use digital displays. Older roadshow visitors may also appreciate the ID. Polo’s retro touches, which convert the car’s modern infotainment screen and digital cockpit to something reminiscent of the original Golf.

Depending on configuration, the ID. Polo offers a WLTP combined range of up to 281 miles, with direct current (DC) quick charging of 90 or 105 kW available as standard.

See the Volkswagen.co.uk website for more information about the all-new ID. Polo.

About the Volkswagen brand:
A total of 178,607 new Volkswagen passenger vehicles were registered in the UK in 2025, according to the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT). This equated to a market share of 8.84 per cent – ahead of the brand’s market share in 2024 (8.52 per cent) – and made Volkswagen the UK’s best-selling new-car brand for the fifth year running.

The Volkswagen Passenger Cars brand has a global presence, producing vehicles at 28 locations in 12 countries, and employs 170,000 people. In 2025, Volkswagen delivered around 4.7 million vehicles worldwide. These included bestsellers such as the Polo, T-Roc, T-Cross, Golf, Tiguan and Passat, as well as the successful all-electric ID. models. Volkswagen handed over about 382,000 all-electric vehicles to customers worldwide in 2025 and, with its BOOST 2030 strategy, it is consistently driving forward its development into the most desirable brand for sustainable mobility.
