  • Forward-looking: Vauxhall STX Concept reimagines the estate car
  • Next design step: Latest evolution of the Vauxhall Vizor previews the brand’s future design language
  • Attention to detail: Flush body surfacing and innovative aerodynamic solutions enhance efficiency and stability at high speeds
  • New identity: STX Concept becomes the first Vauxhall to feature the brand’s new Griffin emblem

Following confirmation of the STX (Sports Tourer eXperiemental) naming last week, Vauxhall has released the first glimpse images of its latest concept car. The images provide an initial glimpse of the precision and attention to detail that define the Vauxhall STX Concept, while previewing the next evolution of the Vauxhall Vizor and the brand’s vision for the future of the estate car. The concept will also be the first Vauxhall to feature the brand’s new Griffin emblem that debuts today.

One of the most distinctive features previewed in the images is the latest evolution of the Vauxhall Vizor. The brand’s characteristic front fascia adopts an even bolder appearance, with a new lighting signature featuring precisely defined vertical elements. At its centre is the new illuminated Vauxhall Griffin, making its debut on the STX Concept and positioned within the Vauxhall Compass design signature.

Aerodynamic efficiency is also central to the STX Concept. Flush body surfacing and innovative aerodynamic solutions are designed to reduce energy consumption while supporting stability and driving pleasure at higher speeds. These include the aerodynamically optimised design of the distinctive three-section alloy wheels.

Eurig Druce, Vauxhall Managing Director & Stellantis UK Group Managing Director, said: “We were pioneers of the estate in the UK as early as the 1950s. With the STX Concept, we want to show Vauxhall’s vision for the future of this body style and introduce the next step of our Bold and Pure design philosophy.  We will be revealing more details soon – so stay tuned.”

The STX Concept will have its public debut on Monday, 12th October at the Paruis Motor Show 2026.

ABOUT VAUXHALL MOTORS

Vauxhall Motors started making cars in the UK in 1903. Today, as the oldest and most familiar of Britain’s automotive manufacturers, its philosophy is to build vehicles that are relevant to all and offer design, high levels of equipment and technology, and electrification at an attainable level. Vauxhall is one of few automotive brands to produce electric vehicles in Britain at its manufacturing plant in Ellesmere Port – the UK’s first electric-only manufacturing plant where the Combo Electric van is made. Vauxhall’s Electric Streets of Britain campaign raises the profile of the need for more on-street electric vehicle charging so that everyone can benefit from the switch to electric.  Find out more at www.electricstreets.co.uk

Vauxhall is proud to be the official automotive partner of Team GB. The partnership sees Britain's most loved sports team and one of Britain’s most recognisable automotive brands joining forces, with Vauxhall supporting athletes as they prepare for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.

Vauxhall is part of Stellantis NV, a global leader created for the new era of sustainable mobility as a result of the merger between Groupe PSA and FCA Group in January 2021. Vauxhall is a leader in electrification – as of 2021, it was one of the first manufacturers to offer fully electric versions of all its vans. Since the end of 2024, Vauxhall has offered a fully electric version of every model in its car and van line-up. Info: www.vauxhall.co.uk
