Suzuki will join the 2026 EV Rally with e Vitara, its first BEV medium-size SUV launched in the UK last Autumn. Now in its fifth year, the highly successful event is organised by GREENFLEET with Lex Autolease as a key sponsor.

e Vitara will be wrapped for the event and driven by the Lloyds Banking Group ‘Women in Transport’ team along with other colleagues in convoy across the UK to checkpoints each day from 7th -11th September. The Rally begins in Exeter and concludes at a Lloyds’ Transport Expo event at Twickenham stadium which will also be hosting the ‘Everything Electric’ show.

‘Mythbusting’ is the theme for this year’s Rally which will once again run over five days to demonstrate and further prove EV viability. This year, the organisers will concentrate on the uncertainty and doubt that still surrounds the world of EV with a focus on ‘busting some myths for good’ along the way in the form of live, real-world demonstrations and combining strong examples of innovation in charging infrastructure and clean energy. Progress of team e Vitara and the whole Rally can be found regularly via Linkedin from 7th September.

Nick Williams, Transport Managing Director, Lloyds Banking Group comments:
“The EV Rally is a brilliant opportunity to show what electric vehicles are capable of. We're proud to have our Women in Transport team behind the wheel of Suzuki's e Vitara, helping to demonstrate that making the switch to electric is a realistic option for drivers across the UK.”

e Vitara is available with either 49kWh or 61kWh battery capacities and in 2WD or with Suzuki’s optional ALLGRIP 4WD technology, e Vitara offers all the tech you need as standard.

49kWh Motion grade includes 18-inch alloy wheels, reversing camera, front and rear parking sensors, smartphone connectivity, keyless entry and start, Heat Pump, Dual Sensor Brake Support, Lane Departure Prevention, Blind Spot Monitor and Rear Cross Traffic Alert plus Navigation and Integrated display system. 61kWh Motion adds heated front seats and heated steering wheel with Ultra grade offering an even higher standard specification.

e Vitara models are available with four years 0% PCP until the end of September along with a £1,000 Finance Deposit Allowance (FDA) which enables customers to drive away in EV silence and efficiency. A low deposit is needed or the option for no deposit at all with monthly payments adjusted accordingly.

Taking the 49kWh Motion grade as an example and with no customer deposit made, monthly payments are just £308 with the usual final payment required to keep the car at the end of the agreement.

ENDS.
