Suzuki Ireland recently announced the winners of its 2025 Dealer of the Year awards. The annual event celebrates dealerships across Suzuki Ireland’s 24 strong dealer network that have consistently exceeded expectations and delivered exceptional customer service during the past 12 months.

The award ceremony was held once again at Carton House, Maynooth, County Kildare where representatives from Suzuki’s dealers gathered to celebrate their achievements. The awards were presented by Board members from Suzuki and included long service recognition and sales of 100 cars by a dealer over the 12 months.

Takanori Suzuki, Managing Director Suzuki GB and Republic of Ireland, commented: “I am incredibly proud of our Irish dealer network for their continued dedication and hard work during the past 12 months. This year has been yet another challenging and increasingly competitive one for the automotive industry, but our Irish dealers have persevered and achieved remarkable results with a record market share plus a record 2,350 units sold to date - and well before the end of the calendar year too.

“As we look ahead to 2026, I'm confident that our dealer network will continue to drive Suzuki's success. We launch our exciting new fully electric e Vitara model in Ireland next Spring, and I know our dealers will be instrumental in successfully bringing it to market and ensuring maximum customer satisfaction”.

This year, Suzuki presented awards in several categories including dealers that sold 100 cars or more during the year plus a further new title which is the Suzuki Fellowship Award. This is handed out to a person or persons from either within the Suzuki dealer network or from Suzuki themselves that have made a clear outstanding contribution to the company.

For 2025, this accolade was proudly handed to Declan Maguire, Commercial Manager, Suzuki Ireland and Michael McBarron, National Sales Manager, Suzuki Ireland in recognition of their strong support in maintaining Suzuki as very successful brand, particularly in a highly competitive market.

The eight successful dealers joining the Suzuki 100 Club are as follows:

  • Barry Browne Cars
  • Cassidy Motors
  • Thomas Farrell & Sons Garage
  • Windsor Airton
  • Hinchy’s Garage
  • Gerry Caffrey Motors
  • Mongey Plunkett Motors
  • Kevin O’Leary Suzuki

Collecting the long service award in recognition of an incredible 40 years as a Suzuki partner was John Kelleher (Salthill) who joined the brand way back in 1985. The Aftersales Customer Experience dealer of the year award was this year handed to Dineen O’Donaghue (Killarney) and best dealer in Aftersales was awarded to Mongey Plunkett Motors (Dublin).

The overall Sales dealer of the year award goes to the business that continues to deliver exceptional results across every part of their company. The well-deserved winner for 2025 was awarded to Barry Browne cars, a family run business who have represented Suzuki for over 25 years, with two retail outlets in Milford and Donegal Town.
