29th September 2025 – Subaru UK & Ireland proudly supported the Agria Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials as its official automotive sponsor. This year’s event hosted the Agria FEI Eventing European Championship, which took place from 18-21 September 2025, and saw Britain's Laura Collett coming away with the gold.
Over 150 horse and rider combinations competed at the event, across the multiple competitions, including 33 Olympians, 17 first-time competitors and two debut nations. Laura Collett took home gold on her horse London 52, with Germany’s Michael Jung in Silver Medal Position, missing out on the top spot by just 1.3 points. Third place and Bronze went to Great Britain’s Tom McEwen on JL Dublin. Germany won the team championship, with Ireland taking Silver for second position and France collecting the Bronze.
Two challenging Subaru fences were part of the Cross Country Course, the Subaru Sensation (11ABC) and the Subaru Splash (18AB), with a further Subaru Oxer being the opening fence in the show jumping arena. All of these challenging obstacles were Subaru-branded and featured vehicles displayed nearby. Further vehicles were also supplied to the Horse Trials Officials for use throughout the event.
Lorraine Bishton, Managing Director, Subaru UK & Ireland, said, “I am pleased to continue our association with the Agria Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials, especially in this important year hosting the Agria FEI Eventing European Championship. Subaru is a brand synonymously linked to country pursuits, equestrian and agriculture, so supporting events of this magnitude is something that resonates strongly with us. Providing the vehicles meant that officials were able to traverse the country estate terrain with ease, helping ensure this first-class event ran exceptionally smoothly.”
There was something for everyone at this year’s event, with visitors treated to a plethora of activities and exciting experiences, such as Mutts & Butts Dog Agility, falconry displays, and the crowd-pleasing Shetland Pony Grand National. Away from the arenas, there were over 200 exhibitors in the shopping village, offering visitors a range of retail opportunities featuring rural brands and local produce.
