25 June 2026 – Subaru UK has partnered with Macmillan Cancer Support Mighty Hikes, the series of award-winning marathon and half-marathon walks taking place at locations in every nation of the UK.

As the official Travel Partner 2026, Subaru’s product range will be present at hiking destinations as diverse as Bakewell in the Peak District and Blenheim Palace in the Cotswolds. At each of the venues between now and end of September, Subaru will display its current hybrid vehicles including Crosstrek and Forester.

Lorraine Bishton, Managing Director of Subaru UK & Ireland said:
“The Subaru line-up, including anticipated new all-electric E-Outback and Uncharted, delivers all-wheel drive cars that are as usable in daily commutes and school runs as exploring and adventuring farther afield. We’re excited to be partnering with Macmillan Mighty Hikes, which supports so many people in their own personal outdoor adventures, celebrating or remembering a life while walking to raise funds. We look forward to meeting some of the remarkable people that take on the Mighty Hikes challenge at events throughout the summer.”

Last year, an incredible team of more than 35,000 hikers took part raising a record-breaking £15 million during the event’s 10th anniversary year. Since 2015, Mighty Hikes has raised an incredible £85 million to support people living with cancer.

Lauren McEvoy, Mighty Hike Team Manager at Macmillan Cancer Support, said:
“We are so grateful for the support of Subaru as our official Travel Partner for Macmillan Mighty Hikes 2026. Our hikes take place in some of the most breathtaking locations across the UK, bringing together thousands of people who walk incredible distances to support people living with cancer. Subaru’s passion for adventure and the outdoors makes them a fantastic partner for Mighty Hikes, and we’re delighted to have their support as we help people come together, celebrate and remember loved ones, and raise vital funds to help make cancer care fairer and better for everyone in the UK.”

Subaru and thousands of walkers will join upcoming events at some of the UK’s most iconic outdoor destinations: Gower Peninsula, Wales, and Skipton, Yorkshire Dales on 27 June; Jurassic Coast on 4 July; Bakewell in the Peak District on 18 July; Rob Roy in Callander, Scotland on 29 August; Alnwick on the Northumberland coast over the weekend of 5 and 6 September; and Blenheim Palace in the Cotswolds on 12 September. There are still some places available at a few Macmillan Mighty Hikes this summer, so sign up now at mightyhikes.macmillan.org.uk.
