The Renault Scenic E-Tech electric has been significantly enhanced for the 2027 model year, with a new 89kWh battery delivering increased range and faster charging, alongside design refinements, upgraded interior finishes and additional technology as standard.
The updated range will be available to order in the UK from 1st October, with prices starting from £33,245 OTR after the full £3,750 Electric Car Grant.
Building on the success of the current Scenic E-Tech electric, which has collected prestigious awards across several categories, the MY27 Scenic now offers up to 392 miles of WLTP range, while DC rapid charging performance has also improved, with a 15–80% charge now nine minutes quicker than before.
More range and faster charging
All MY27 Scenic E-Tech electric versions use a new 89kWh lithium-ion NMC battery, paired with a 160kW/220hp electric motor producing 300Nm of torque.
The updated battery delivers up to 392 miles of WLTP combined range in techno specification – 11 more than the previous model – while techno esprit Alpine offers up to 385 miles and iconic esprit Alpine up to 382 miles.
DC rapid charging at up to 150kW enables a 15–80% charge in just 28 minutes, a reduction in charging time of 24% compared with the previous model. An 11kW AC onboard charger remains standard across the range, together with battery pre-conditioning for DC charging.
Refined exterior and interior design
MY27 introduces a series of subtle exterior updates designed to enhance Scenic E-Tech electric without changing its established character.
techno models gain new 19-inch ‘cinetic’ black diamond cut alloy wheels, while techno esprit Alpine and iconic esprit Alpine trim levels feature 20-inch ‘speedway’ black diamond cut wheels with a smoked lacquer finish.
Front and rear blade finishes have also been revised, while the colour palette expands with two new choices: satin slate blue and exo galaxy grey.
Inside, techno receives a new interior treatment with revised upholstery, dashboard detailing and stitching. The front seats have also been updated to provide improved comfort and more pronounced bolstering.
More technology as standard
The MY27 Scenic E-Tech electric introduces a number of additional features across the range, including a new ventilated Qi2 15W wireless smartphone charger.
Google Gemini* joins the openR link system with Google services built-in, allowing more natural conversational interaction with the vehicle. Smart Mode is also included, automatically adapting the Multi-Sense driving mode according to the way the vehicle is being driven.
Further updates have been made to Scenic E-Tech electric’s driver assistance systems, with active driver assist, predictive eco driving assistance, blind spot warning, rear automatic emergency braking and rear cross traffic alert available across the range.
Three-version MY27 line-up
The MY27 Scenic E-Tech electric range comprises three trim levels: techno, techno esprit Alpine and iconic esprit Alpine.
techno combines the new 89kWh battery with 19-inch ‘cinetic’ alloy wheels, openR link with Google built-in, a 12.3-inch digital driver display, active driver assist, heated front seats and steering wheel, a powered tailgate and ventilated wireless charger.
techno esprit Alpine adds distinctive esprit Alpine styling, 20-inch ‘speedway’ alloy wheels and electrically adjustable front seats with a driver massage function.
At the top of the range, iconic esprit Alpine adds further premium equipment including the Solarbay opacifying panoramic sunroof, Harman Kardon premium audio system, 360° around view 3D camera, smart rear-view mirror and hands-free parking.
Orders for the MY27 Renault Scenic E-Tech electric open on 1st October 2026.
