• National French Bread Day is marked around the world on March 21

• Visitors to Renault’s flagship rnlt store at Battersea Power Station on Saturday, March 21 can receive a free, signature baguette sandwich from Claire, subject to availability
• Claire will be in store from 11-3pm to meet fans and dish out the sandwiches
• Additional Renault and Condiment Claire giveaways and photo opportunities will be available for anyone who books a test drive of a baguette holder-equipped R4

Turn up La Marseillaise and dream of the Eiffel Tower! Renault will celebrate National French Bread Day on March 21 with a fun-filled giveaway curated by food author, TV personality and TikTok and Instagram sensation ‘Condiment Claire’ Dinhut.

Visitors to the French car maker’s store at Battersea Power Station, London will receive a free baguette sandwich, served by Claire and her team  and created to a variety of recipes overseen by her, in homage to the baguette holder accessory that is available on its best-selling Renault 5 E-Tech electric and Renault 4 E-Tech electric cars.

Claire is known around the world as Condiment Claire, having amassed more than 1 million followers on TikTok and Instagram, authored the best-selling The Condiment Book and recently made guest appearances on cooking shows including Saturday Kitchen. A French-American, she is well-known for her celebration of the baguette, and most notably her promotion of the classic ‘jambon beurre’ and ‘jambon fromage’ baguettes that will be available in store.

“When Renault announced you could buy a wicker baguette holder for the Renault 4, I was instantly hooked!” said Claire. “We French adore baguettes – and, believe me, there are rules not only on how to eat one but also how to properly transport one from the boulangerie to your plate. I cannot wait to celebrate together in Battersea for National French Bread day on the 21st!“

Renault 4 and Renault 5 have won multiple awards, inclduding Car of the Year titles from Top Gear and What Car?, are both are available with the Government’s Electric Car Grant. Prices for Renault 5 start from £21,495, while Renault 4 starts from £23,455.
