Renault loves motor shows. Each one is an opportunity for the brand to nurture its special connection with customers, motoring enthusiasts and the general public, and to share its vision of mobility.

At the Paris Motor Show, Renault is celebrating the spirit of voitures à vivre and presenting a fully renewed line-up, reflecting a technological strategy based on two pillars: electric and hybrid. With a comprehensive range of electrified vehicles, designed to meet new customer needs and lifestyles, Renault is pursuing its ambition to develop cars that are innovative, desirable and designed for everyday life. Cars that combine innovation with emotion, and an unwavering focus on the added value delivered to customers.

And because voitures à vivre are designed to coexist alongside their customers, the brand is maintaining a dynamic of continuous progress, with recently launched vehicles that are already evolving to deliver even more value. New models, new technologies and a new generation of batteries demonstrate Renault’s commitment to the continuous improvement of its voitures à vivre. This momentum is also driving continuous product improvements, from the introduction of LFP batteries across the entire electric range to make electric mobility more accessible, to One Pedal driving for an easier everyday driving experience. Gemini, Google’s artificial intelligence, is another major step forward, further enhancing the connected in-car experience. It will be rolled out via over-the-air updates, allowing vehicles already on the road to benefit without having to visit a workshop. Twingo E-Tech electric is another example of this continuous improvement approach. Just a few months after its commercial launch, it is gaining the Twingobay panoramic glass roof, bringing even more natural light into the cabin for both front and rear occupants.

This strategy can be seen on the Renault stand with a number of new models, including new Megane E-Tech electric, new Trafic E-Tech electric, the limited-edition Rafale hypnotic and a hyper-customised version of Renault 5 Turbo 3 E.

The brand will also be showcasing three concept cars, including Renault E-Space Concept, making its global debut and opening new possibilities for travel and family mobility in the electric era.

An iconic model to explore possible futures
With E-Space Concept, Renault is rebooting the spirit of Renault Espace, a model first launched in 1984 that has left its mark on automotive history. More than 40 years on, E-Space Concept is a future-focused vision of the original, true to the approach that has always set Renault apart: innovating for the benefit of people, human emotion and the in-car experience.

This contemporary twist on the spirit of voitures à vivre fully illustrates Renault’s brand markers while taking them to the next level: Design to be loved, Electrified by passion, Human-first tech and Crafted space.

With its iconic design and useful technologies, E-Space Concept embodies the brand’s futuREady strategy: reinventing the automotive experience by placing user needs and the in-car experience at the heart of the design process.

The “E” in E-Space refers directly to E-Tech, which stands for Electrified Technology, Renault’s umbrella name for electrification. And the word “Space” brings to mind an interior that is generously sized, high-tech and welcoming.

Renault E-Space Concept is a spectacular car, 4.70m long with bodywork in an elegant shade of black rubé. Its generous proportions and expressive design reflect a new approach to the design of family cars.

The concept car features a wide “U”-shaped light strip at front and rear, outlining the vehicle’s contours. In the centre of the front end, an illuminated diamond appears to float in space, as if suspended in a subtle interplay of pixels.

E-Space Concept will be unveiled on 12 October.

Renault at the 2026 Paris Motor Show: innovation in all its forms to address real customer needs
With a history stretching back nearly 130 years, Renault has forged a strong and distinctive identity as a brand that has always designed – and will continue to design – voitures à vivre. This DNA feeds into an attractive range of products, developed to meet a wide range of customer needs and to drive growth.

Renault embraces and celebrates its heritage, while looking to the future with confidence. Alongside E-Space Concept, the brand will also be showcasing several new models on its 2,500 m2 stand, illustrating the variety of a line-up built on the key strategy of electrification, with intuitive, efficient and people-centred technologies. In this way, the brand is demonstrating its ability to continually improve its range of vehicles, while keeping pace with customer expectations.

Renault invites you to its press conference at the Paris Motor Show on Monday 12 October 2026 at 8.30 am (CET), to view the world premiere of the new Renault E-Space concept car and discover all the new models on display. You can also follow the conference live or online.

New Megane E-Tech electric
Renault is upgrading Megane E-Tech electric to further strengthen its competitiveness, focusing on four key areas:

  • a new, even more dynamic exterior design;
  • a new 67 kWh LFP battery, providing a range of up to 500 km and 25% improved DC charging performance, now enabling the battery to charge from 15% to 80% in just 24 minutes;
  • useful technologies that continue to evolve, including the introduction of a new intelligent driving mode, “Smart Mode”, Gemini artificial intelligence, and new features within the OpenR Link with Google system. More information

Renault 5 Turbo 3E
An electric reboot of the legendary Renault 5 Turbo and Turbo 2 from the 1980s, the Renault 5 Turbo 3E “mini-supercar” will be presented as an engineering prototype, closely resembling a future production model. Powered by two innovative rear-mounted in-wheel motors, it delivers 555 hp for an impressive 4,800 Nm of torque, making it the most powerful street-legal Renault ever built. Another version in original colours will also be on display, showcasing the options for hyper-personalisation. More information

Renault Twingo E-Tech electric gains a new glass roof
The 2026 Paris Motor Show will also be an opportunity to discover a new addition to the Twingo E-Tech electric range: the Twingobay panoramic glass roof. With a surface area of 0.7m², this feature creates a brighter in-car experience, letting natural light flood into the cabin, increasing the sense of space for all passengers. With its rounded contours, the Twingobay glass roof contributes to the vehicle’s distinctive character. The Twingo graphic alphabet is featured on the inside and is visible from the cabin. This exclusive detail brings to mind the playful, offbeat world of Twingo, while creating a distinctive visual signature.

The glass roof uses multi-layer technology to ensure passenger comfort all year round, filtering 99.9% of UVs and blocking most IR radiation, with a low-emissivity film contributing to high standards of thermal comfort inside the car, whatever the season. This controlled heat gain lets passengers take full advantage of the glass sunroof without a blind, for greater interior space and reduced weight.

For the UK, Twingo is planned to receive the Twingobay glass roof in 2027, with the price to be confirmed closer to the time.

At the same time, in the same way as for other Renault models featuring the OpenR Link system with Google built-in, Google’s AI assistant – Gemini – is making its in-car debut as part of an optional over-the-air update to Google Assistant.

Renault Rafale hypnotic
Renault Rafale is expanding its range with a new limited edition expressing real personality. Based on the high-spec finish: Rafale hyper hybrid E-Tech 4x4 300 hp Atelier Alpine, Rafale hypnotic delivers the very best of Renault technology, along with an exclusive design and premium features. Roll-out of the LFP battery across the entire Renault E-Tech electric range
Renault is continuing its electric offensive with the gradual roll-out of LFP (lithium iron phosphate) battery technology across its entire range of passenger cars. The aim is to make electric mobility even more affordable and competitive through an optimised price-to-range ratio. Following Twingo and Megane, Scenic and Renault 5 E-Tech electric are set to gain this technology, to be followed shortly by Renault 4 E-Tech electric. The LFP batteries in these models use a cell-to-pack architecture that optimises energy density and usable battery capacity: 27.5 kWh for Twingo, 37 kWh for Renault 5 and 67 kWh for Megane and Scenic. In the same way as other Renault EVs, models with an LFP battery ship with the patented Fireman Access system to flood the cells quickly in the event of a fire.

Renault 8 Gordini Concept
Renault’s heritage is a source of inspiration and emotion, the basis of a strong bond forged with customers, motoring enthusiasts and the general public. This concept car reboots the legendary Renault 8 Gordini in the form of an all-electric two-seater coupé with racing-style proportions. Inspired by the world of rallying, it incorporates the iconic features of the 1960s classic in a contemporary design. Through this exercise in style, the brand pays tribute to a model that played a key role in shaping its sporting image. More information
