The PEUGEOT E-408 provided all-electric transport for stars attending the BAFTA Cymru Awards at ICC Wales in Newport.

As part of its long-term partnership with BAFTA, PEUGEOT led the red-carpet arrivals of nominees, presenters and guests at the 2026 BAFTA Cymru Awards, helping celebrate the talent behind Welsh film and television.

Held on Sunday 4 October, the awards brought together names from across the Welsh creative industries. Hosted by TV presenter Owain Wyn Evans, the ceremony featured 17 categories recognising achievements across craft, performance and production. Winners included: Actress Award – Gabrielle Creevy, Actor Award – Matthew Rhys, Writer – Matthew Barry. Y Golau: Dwr and The Guest both won two awards each.

Steve Wass, Managing Director, PEUGEOT UK, said: "We’re proud to continue our long-term partnership with BAFTA and to support the BAFTA Cymru Awards, celebrating the exceptional talent and creativity across Welsh film and television. This partnership reflects our shared values of creativity, innovation and excellence, and we’re pleased to help create a memorable arrival experience for guests."

Following its role at the BAFTA Games Awards and BAFTA Television and Television Craft Awards, the all-electric E-408 returned to the red carpet as the official vehicle for the evening, chauffeuring guests including host Owain Wyn Evans and Carol Vorderman MBE, who received the Siân Phillips Award for Outstanding Contribution to Television.

The E-408 combines distinctive styling, advanced technology, premium features and electric driving pleasure.

The model features a dynamic fastback silhouette combined with PEUGEOT’s characteristic three-claw LED lighting signature, while inside the innovative i-Cockpit combines a 10-inch HD touchscreen with a compact steering wheel and a row of five customisable i-Toggle shortcuts for intuitive control. Generous passenger space, premium FOCAL® hi-fi and heated and massaging seats* make the E-408 ideally suited to comfortable and stylish journeys.
