Road safety technology company, OOONO, has launched the latest generation of its popular CO-DRIVER safety warning device, introducing a new intelligent display that gives motorists even clearer information about potential hazards on the road ahead.
Building on the success of CO-DRIVER NO1 and NO2, which remain available to buy and are in use by over five million users , the new NO3 introduces a Focus Display showing visual warnings and distances to approaching speed cameras, accidents, roadworks, traffic congestion and other hazards, alongside familiar audible alerts.
Motorists can also report mobile speed cameras and road hazards to the OOONO community of drivers at the touch of a button, without navigating multiple menus, making it quicker and easier to share real-time information that helps keep everyone safer on the road. With the average UK car now 9.7 years old, according to SMMT data, the NO3 is ideal for drivers with older infotainment systems or those who prefer the added reassurance of visual and audible alerts, with the latest information at a glance.
Drivers can now see exactly what type of hazard is approaching and how far away it is in metres or yards, with the display counting down the distance as they get closer. When approaching a speed camera, the device also shows the relevant speed limit, helping motorists remain aware of changing road conditions.
Designed to provide useful information without unnecessary distraction, the new display remains dark when there are no hazards to report. Redesigned warning tones also allow motorists to distinguish between different types of alerts without needing to look at the device.
The system draws on information shared by OOONO's European community of more than five million drivers, alongside a database of more than 145,000 confirmed speed camera locations in more than 80 countries. These include fixed and mobile speed cameras, red-light cameras and average speed checks.
The new CO-DRIVER NO3 features a compact anodised aluminium housing, a rechargeable battery with USB-C charging and connectivity through the free OOONO smartphone app. Warnings can also be accessed through Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, allowing motorists to use their vehicle's existing infotainment screen.
As with previous CO-DRIVER devices, speed camera and hazard warnings remain available without a subscription.
Mike Skyte, UK market lead for OOONO, said: “With CO-DRIVER NO3, we've taken everything drivers value about our existing devices and made it even better. The new Focus Display gives motorists clearer information about what's happening on the road ahead, helping them anticipate potential hazards without unnecessary distraction.
“We've also made it easier for drivers to report and confirm hazards, which benefits our entire community of more than five million users. And this is just the beginning. With new features such as fuel price comparisons and automatic mileage logging coming soon, we're developing CO-DRIVER into something that makes driving not just safer, but simpler and more convenient too.”
The OOONO CO-DRIVER NO3 is now on sale at £89.99 (with a launch offer for a limited period) – https://ooono.com/en-uk/pages/cd3 and doesn’t require a subscription.

Notes to Editors
*The OOONO system leverages a community of millions of drivers, each reporting road events in real time – with just a button press. Each alert a driver receives comes from another motorist ahead. Similarly, when a driver validates or reports a hazard, drivers behind benefit from that information as well as the thousands of pre-loaded static safety camera locations.
The benefits include:
Instant alerts, minimal distraction – CO‑DRIVER automatically activates when the car starts.
Speed safety camera coverage – The system supports all major camera types (fixed, mobile, red‑light, average speed) across more than 80 countries – including over 145,000 fixed safety camera locations worldwide (with nearly 9,000 in the UK).
Road hazard and works warnings – Temporary hazards like roadworks, stranded vehicles and debris are reported by fellow users and surfaced in your warnings.
Dismiss and validation tools (NO3) – If a warning is no longer relevant, drivers can dismiss it to help prune false alerts.
About OOONO
OOONO was founded in 2017 by serial entrepreneur Christian Walther. The inspiration came from a simple, relatable moment - bursting out an “Oh No!” while driving. Whether it was a speed camera, a sudden stop, or an unexpected road hazard, that instinctive reaction sparked an idea: What if drivers never had to say “Oh No” again?
From this frustration came a concept: To make driving smarter by giving drivers the right information at the right time, avoiding surprises and instinctive reactions. The solution? A simple, yet powerful device that enables drivers to share real-time traffic information with just a single click of a button. A few days in the tech-lab (ok maybe a bit more), and voila, the OOONO CO-DRIVER NO1 was born.
Fast forward to today, OOONO is one of the fastest growing companies in Denmark, with a wide product portfolio. We also sell products that aren’t designed for the road, but that’s another brand book. Our main markets count Denmark, Germany, the United Kingdom, and Italy, and we’re more than 130 talented people across offices in Copenhagen, Berlin and Oxford.
