An evocative video captures the Trident’s participation in the Bologna show, where the Motor Valley’s longest-established brand captivated the large audience with iconic cars, contemporary masterpieces and engaging talks

Modena, 27 October 2026 – Thousands of visitors from 40 countries, more than 5,000 vehicles on display and for sale, and 235,000 square metres of exhibition space. These are the figures from the 43rd edition of Auto e Moto d’Epoca, which concluded yesterday at BolognaFiere after four days, from 22 to 25 October, dedicated to a passion for historic motoring. With 14 halls and strong attendance by collectors, enthusiasts and industry professionals, the event reaffirmed its status as an international benchmark for classic cars and motorcycles.

Maserati was also among the leading names at the event and is sharing its participation through an extensive and evocative selection of photographs and video, now available to the media. The images capture the atmosphere of the show, the enthusiasm of the public and the allure of the cars on display, bearing witness to the bond between the Trident, the local area and Italian automotive culture.

Two icons of Maserati’s interpretation of Italian Gran Turismo attracted particular attention from visitors at the Motor Valley stand. On one side was the 1972 Ghibli SS Coupé, a masterpiece whose model celebrates its 60th anniversary this year, with its low, sleek lines and a powerful 4.9-litre V8 delivering 335 hp at 5,500 rpm. On the other was the new 590-hp GranTurismo Trofeo, which turned heads with its sophisticated Verde Giada livery and sculptural design, paired with the iconic 3.0-litre V6 Nettuno engine, tuned to deliver 590 hp and 650 Nm of torque.

A dialogue between different eras that took on even greater significance in the year in which Maserati celebrates the centenary of the Trident and its first racing victory, in Bologna itself, where the Brand was founded in 1914. Completing the presence of the Motor Valley’s longest-established Brand was a second 1970 Ghibli SS Coupé, displayed on the FIVA stand. Finally, the two talks attracted considerable interest, featuring Cristiano Bolzoni, Head of Maserati Classiche, and Davide Baldini, Head of Maserati Fuoriserie, who retraced the most significant milestones in the history of the Trident.
