Combining outstanding safety, advanced technology and exceptional value, the B05 has quickly earned the trust of customers and established itself as one of the standout models in Leapmotor's expanding European portfolio.

Recognised for its standout performance across Euro NCAP's latest safety assessments, the B05 achieved top marks for passenger safety, accident prevention and rapid emergency response following a collision. This achievement confirms the B05’s class-leading safety credentials, while raising the benchmark for EV brands’ safety performance.

The five-star rating demonstrates Leapmotor's ability to combine cutting-edge innovation, advanced safety engineering and exceptional value in a single product. As one of Leapmotor’s most technologically advanced vehicles to date, the B05 embodies a commitment to technological innovation, bringing sophisticated safety features and intelligent driver assistance to European customers at an affordable and competitive price.

The Euro NCAP recognition comes as the B05 continues to gain strong momentum across European markets. Since its launch, the B05 has proven popular among customers with its compelling blend of design, technology, practicality and affordability. The addition of an independent five-star safety rating further strengthens its appeal, giving customers even greater confidence in a vehicle that is rapidly driving Leapmotor’s sales across Europe.

Crash Protection: The B05 impressed Euro NCAP across every area of the assessment, achieving some of the highest scores recorded in several key categories. It’s 92% score for Crash Protection highlights the B05’s ability to keep passengers safe in real-world collision scenarios, with Euro NCAP recognising the B05's robust protection levels for both adults and children across a wide range of impact situations.

Side Impact Protection: The B05 also delivered a flawless performance in some of the most demanding crash tests, securing 100% scores in both Side Barrier and Side Pole Impact protection. Euro NCAP praised the vehicle's ability to protect critical body regions and recognised the effectiveness of its centre airbag technology in reducing injuries during side impacts.

Active Safety and Driver Assistance: Beyond crash protection, the B05 excelled in active safety tests, achieving an outstanding 99% score in Lane Departure Collision Prevention, demonstrating the effectiveness of its intelligent safety systems in helping drivers avoid potential accidents. Its advanced driver assistance technologies also secured 100% scores for Steering Assistance and Lane Change Assist, reflecting the strength of the B05’s safety features in supporting drivers through complex traffic situations.

Rear Impact and Post-Crash Safety: Further strengthening its safety credentials, the B05 achieved 98% for Rear Impact Protection and 89% for Post-Crash Safety, ensuring not only excellent passenger protection during a collision but also enhanced support for emergency response and rescue operations.

The vehicle's comprehensive safety package includes advanced Autonomous Emergency Braking, Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Detection, Emergency Lane Keeping Assist, Driver Monitoring and Cyclist Dooring Prevention systems, providing continuous protection for occupants and other road users alike. The B05's AEB system also exceeds legislative requirements and performs strongly across a wide range of advanced test scenarios.

This latest achievement reinforces Leapmotor's growing reputation as a technology-driven global automotive brand and highlights the company's commitment to bringing innovation, premium features and uncompromising safety to UK customers.

As Leapmotor continues to grow internationally, the B05 demonstrates how advanced engineering and intelligent safety can be delivered at exceptional value, making electric mobility more accessible than ever.
