  • Kia UK officially certified as a Great Place To Work®
  • 96% of employees say Kia is a great place to work

Kia UK has been officially certified as a Great Place To Work®, based on employees’ assessments of their workplace experience through the globally recognised Great Place To Work® Trust Index™ survey.

This certification highlights Kia UK’s strong, people-centred culture and its continued commitment to fostering an engaging and supportive working environment.

This year, 85% per cent of employees at Kia UK participated in the survey, underlining high levels of engagement and a shared commitment to continuously strengthening Kia’s workplace culture. On average, 96% of employees considered Kia to be a truly great place to work, 100% are proud to tell others they work for Kia UK and 99% agree employees are made to feel welcome. Kia UK has also risen through the ranks of the Best Large Workplaces placing 25th, up from 80th in 2024.

“We are proud to see Kia UK recognised as a Great Place To Work® for the fourth year in a row and with improved results year on year. This achievement reflects the collaboration and commitment of our employees, who make this organisation a welcoming and inspiring workplace,” said Gemma Benbow, People & Organisation Director at Kia UK. “The insights from the survey help us understand what we are doing well and where we can continue to grow to create an environment where everyone can contribute and thrive.”

Survey results show that employees particularly value the sense of teamwork and belonging within the organisation. Many colleagues report feeling welcomed, supported, and free to be themselves at work. Fairness and respect were also ranked highly, reflecting an inclusive workplace culture built on trust and collaboration.

The Great Place To Work® survey provides valuable insight into employee experiences and helps Kia UK continuously strengthen its organisational culture. By aligning these insights with Kia’s core values: Care for People, Move Further Together, Empower People to Act, Dare to Push Boundaries, and Chase Excellence Every Day, the organisation continues to build an inspiring environment where employees can develop and grow.

Even in areas where opportunities for improvement were identified, the results offer direction for further development. Kia UK remains committed to listening to its people and taking meaningful action to enhance the employee experience.
