Kia has been named among Fortune’s 100 Best Companies to Work For™ Europe for 2026, ranking No. 88, following its Great Place To Work® certification.
This recognition reflects Kia continued commitment to strengthening its position as an engaging, inclusive and innovative employer across Europe. It is based on the Great Place To Work® proprietary Trust Index™ Survey, which evaluates confidential employee feedback alongside HR data from participating companies. The results highlight Kia Europe’s strong people-centred culture: 91% of new employees saying they feel welcome, 80% of employees say people care about each other, and 78% feel they make a difference.
Fortune's ‘100 Best Companies to Work For Europe’ list recognises organisations demonstrating a strong commitment to employee experience and workplace culture, through a survey of more than one million employees. Companies included on the list are distinguished by consistently positive feedback from employees across roles, departments and employment groups. Eligible organisations have at least 500 employees and appeared on one or more national Best Workplaces™ lists published by Great Place To Work® during 2025 or early 2026.
“Our people are our greatest strength, and this recognition reflects the culture our employees have built together across Kia in Europe,” said Soohang Chang, President and CEO of Kia Europe. “Being recognised among the best companies to work for in Europe reflects our continued commitment to building an employer based on trust, inclusion, collaboration and a shared commitment to succeed as one team. We are grateful to our employees, whose dedication and passion make Kia Europe a great place to work.”
Kia Europe continues to build a strong workplace culture across its European organisation. The Great Place To Work® survey results show that Kia employees particularly value strong leadership, care for people and a culture of trust, with many colleagues reporting that they feel welcomed, supported and able to be themselves at work. Positive feedback on teamwork, belonging, fairness and respect further demonstrates Kia’s commitment to an inclusive and supportive employee experience across the region.
Kia Europe uses these insights to continuously strengthen its organisational culture and translate employee feedback into practical improvements. This approach is guided by the company’s values: Care for People, Move Further Together, Empower People to Act, Dare to Push Boundaries and Chase Excellence Every Day.
In Europe, Kia and its subsidiaries are focused on sustainability, mobility, electrification, connectivity and light commercial vehicles, which is enabling the creation of new workstreams and opening up new markets. This is encouraging the company’s employees to reach new heights of performance and innovation, while the ‘Opposites United’ approach to design is opening the company up to new candidates and perspectives.
