- North East Scotland dealership introduces limited-time charity campaign
- £500 donation per retail vehicle sold when customers mention “Cash for Kids”
- Initiative aims to support disadvantaged children across the region
20th April 2026
KGM Motors UK is pleased to highlight a new community-led initiative from its dealer partner, Station Garage Torphins, aimed at supporting Cash for Kids across North East Scotland.
Running from 20th to 30th April, Station Garage Torphins will donate £500 from every retail vehicle sold when customers mention “Cash for Kids” at the point of purchase. The campaign coincides with Cash for Kids Day, the charity’s largest annual fundraising event.
Cash for Kids works to improve the lives of disadvantaged children and young people affected by poverty, illness, neglect or additional needs. By linking donations directly to vehicle sales, the initiative provides a simple and impactful way for customers to contribute.
Local action making a difference
This campaign reflects the strong community focus within KGM’s dealer network, with retailers across the UK continuing to engage in initiatives that support local causes and charities.
Lynda Young, General Manager at Station Garage Torphins, said:
“We’re absolutely delighted to be supporting Cash for Kids. It’s such a fantastic cause, and helping children and families across our region is something that truly matters to us. This initiative makes it easy for our customers to get involved – by simply purchasing a vehicle and mentioning the campaign, they’re directly contributing to something meaningful. We’re hopeful we can raise significant funds and make a real difference.”
Jamie Smith, Charity Manager for Cash for Kids North East Scotland, added:
“We are very grateful for the support of Station Garage Torphins. This initiative is a brilliant example of how a local business can have a real impact in its community. Cash for Kids Day is our biggest fundraising event of the year, and support from partners like Station Garage Torphins allows us to continue helping thousands of children and families across the region.”
Driving community engagement
In 2025 alone, Cash for Kids North East Scotland supported more than 20,000 local children. Initiatives like this demonstrate how local businesses can play a vital role in supporting their communities.
Station Garage Torphins were also recently named KGM Dealer of the Year 2025, recognised for their strong performance, customer service and continued commitment to the brand and its local community.
Customers interested in taking part are encouraged to visit Station Garage Torphins between 20th and 30th April and mention “Cash for Kids” to ensure their purchase contributes to the donation.
