KGM Motors UK expands Derby representation with Mertrux KGM

KGM Motors UK, formerly SsangYong, is delighted to welcome Mertrux KGM to its growing dealer network. Based in Derby on 12 Chequers Road, West Meadows Industrial Estate, DE21 6EN, the long-established commercial vehicle specialist brings more than 50 years of industry experience, regional knowledge and customer-focused expertise to the KGM brand.

Founded by Don Marshall, Mertrux began trading in January 1971 and has since grown into one of the East Midlands’ most respected commercial vehicle businesses. From its early days in Burton-on-Trent to its long-standing headquarters in Derby, the company has built its reputation on quality, professionalism and a deep understanding of the needs of business customers.

Today, Mertrux operates across Derby, Nottingham, Leicester and Mansfield, supporting customers throughout the region with vehicle sales, servicing, parts and aftersales care. Its strong commercial vehicle background makes it a natural fit for KGM, particularly as the brand continues to expand its presence in the pick-up, 4x4 and commercial vehicle sectors.

With its appointment as a KGM dealer, Mertrux KGM will support customers across Derby and the wider East Midlands with access to KGM’s award-winning range. This includes the award-winning Musso pick-up, the all-new fully electric Musso EV, the next-generation Musso Rhino and Rhino+, and the highly practical Rexton Commercial Vehicle, alongside KGM’s wider SUV line-up.
