JAECOO UK Named Breakthrough Brand At The News UK Motor Awards

London, 2 October 2026 – JAECOO has been named the winner of the Breakthrough award at the News UK Motor Awards, recognising the brand’s rapid rise since it arrived in the UK less than two years ago.

Presented at a ceremony at The News Building in London last night, the award was described by News UK as testament to the brand’s strong performance since it entered the UK market. News UK is the publisher of The Sun, The Times and The Sunday Times.

JAECOO launched in the UK in January 2025 with the JAECOO 7, followed by the JAECOO 5 and latterly the flagship JAECOO 8 SHS-P. Combining bold design, advanced technology and genuine all-road capability with strong value, all three models have quickly become familiar sights on British roads. The news comes as the JAECOO 7 is confirmed as the UK’s best-selling car in September, with 10,813 registrations**.
