The Derian House Children’s Hospice Annual Jingle All The Way charity Santa Walk was held on the 8th November 2025, supported by Isuzu dealer Chorley Group. Over 1,900 Santas took part in a 15-mile walk from Chorley Town Hall to Rivington Pike, spreading festive cheer, sharing smiles, and raising funding for the local charity.
Concluding the 9th annual edition of the walk, the event raised in excess of £40,000 for Derian House. The hospice cares for more than 400 babies, children, and young people, offering 24/7 support for them and their families. With operating costs totalling £6 million a year, charity events such as the Jingle All The Way Santa Walk help raise critical funding and awareness.
With the first Jingle All The Way event taking place in 2012, this year saw even more Santas join the walk, as around 500 more volunteers donned their suits taking the total number to 1,900. Chorley Group provided two Isuzu D-Max pick-ups to ensure the seamless operations of the event, the safety of the participants, and the increasing number of spectators.
Founder of the Jingle All The Way Santa Walk and ambassador for Derian House Children’s Hospice, Niel Hailwood, started the event following the tragic loss of his close friend’s son. Hailwood said: “It has been another fantastic showing for this year’s Jingle All The Way Santa Walk in aid of Derian House Children’s Hospice. With one of our biggest turnouts for Santas, increasing by nearly 50% on last year’s volunteers, it makes me immensely proud to see the level of engagement with this initiative. The community have really come together to support this wonderful charity that makes such a difference to the children and their families. I would like to extend a massive thank you to the team at Chorley Group for providing their Isuzu D-Max pick-ups to make this event possible.”
Corporate Centre Manager at Chorley Group, Robson Broomhead, added: “We have been privileged to support Neil and the Jingle All The Way Santa Walk for another year. The event has smashed its target of raising £15,000, achieving over double that amount for a very important cause. With such a large turnout of volunteers and spectators, the Jingle All The Way Santa Walk is the perfect way to kick off the festive season.”
