- The new Tonale renews the brand's sporty DNA with its updated design, refined interiors and advanced technologies, combined with a choice of hybrid and plug-in hybrid powertrains
- The initiative strengthened the bond between Alfa Romeo and its ‘family’ of enthusiasts and collaborators, combining Italian excellence, passion and team spirit
Yesterday, Alfa Romeo put employees in the spotlight during an exclusive event for the new Tonale, an evolution of the brand's first C-SUV that reaffirms its sporty character and the unmistakable charm of Italian design.
The event was also attended by Jasmine Paolini, one of the brightest stars of international tennis and Alfa Romeo Brand Ambassador since the beginning of this year.
Unveiled to the international press in Pisa recently, the new Tonale was showcased at the Turin site, giving Mirafiori employees the opportunity to be the first in Italy to admire it up close. Some of them also enjoyed a few rallies with the tennis champion on the mini tennis courts set up inside the venue, adding a sporty and fun touch that made the event even more memorable.
Born in 1996, Jasmine Paolini has distinguished herself for her talent, determination and competitive spirit, becoming a benchmark for Italian sport. In 2024, she had a remarkable season, winning her first WTA 1000 title in Dubai and reaching the finals at Roland-Garros and Wimbledon. She also claimed Olympic gold in the doubles at the Paris Games alongside Sara Errani and led Italy to victory in the Billie Jean King Cup.
In 2025 Paolini continued to make history. In May, she became the first Italian in 40 years to win the Italian Open, and the following day achieved an extraordinary double triumph by also winning the women's doubles title, once again with Sara Errani. With an ever-growing list of titles, the young Tuscan tennis player embodies the Alfa Romeo values of elegance, performance and innovation. She stands for Italian excellence through her tenacity, skill and joy.
Choosing an Alfa Romeo is not just about driving a car; it is about living an emotion every day, the feeling of a sporty heart that beats faster than all the others.
The new Tonale refines its dynamic qualities even further, delivering an authentic Alfa Romeo driving experience. Perfect weight balance, the most direct steering in its class, Brembo brakes and DSV electronic suspension ensure superior handling and performance.
Its updated exterior design features sculpted proportions, a widened wheel track and a new concave badge with a redesigned trilobe - elements that enhance its presence on the road. New customisation options include three new body colours – Brera Red, Monza Green and Ocra – a contrasting black roof and two new interior trims in red leather or two-tone black and white Alcantara.
The new line-up consists of the Tonale, Sprint Speciale, Ti and Veloce versions, with a choice of hybrid and plug-in hybrid Q4 powertrains to suit every need.
The exciting launch event in Turin underscored the pride and strong sense of belonging to the Alfa Romeo family, where every milestone is achieved through shared passion and commitment. Since 2021, the Alfa Romeo headquarters have been located at Centro Stile on Via Plava, a redeveloped section of the historic Officine 83. This iconic location brings together the finest expression of Italian design with a modern, collaborative workspace that harnesses creativity and teamwork.
The heart of Mirafiori beats with the Italian energy of talent and passion, the same energy that drives Jasmine Paolini on the court and Alfa Romeo on the road, inspiring unique emotions wherever they go.
