From 21-30 November, Alfa Romeo is taking part in the renowned California motor show, showcasing the exclusive 33 Stradale and debuting the new Tonale in the United States for the very first time

  • With its sculptured design, breathtaking performance and obsessive craftsmanship, the 33 Stradale embodies the spirit of Alfa Romeo – boldly reimagining a legend of the past as tangible vision of the future
  • The new Tonale is the evolution of the brand’s first C-SUV featuring an even more iconic and sporty design, the latest technology and the most engaging driving dynamics in its segment

From 21-30 November, Alfa Romeo will display two of its latest models at the Los Angeles Auto Show, one of the longest-running and most prestigious car shows in the world. The brand will showcase the exclusive 33 Stradale, while the new Tonale will also make its debut in the United States.

The star of the show will be the 33 Stradale, which ensures outstanding performance on the track yet no compromises in terms of comfort and ease of use, even on an everyday basis. Its goal is to provide the most thrilling driving experience and the timeless charm of an icon to an exclusive group of enthusiasts. Produced in just 33 exclusive units, all already sold, the two-seater coupé represents the return of the legendary 1960s 33 Stradale, reputed by many to be one of the most beautiful cars of all time, and derived directly from the Tipo 33 – once a big name in world motorsport.

Every 33 Stradale is a unique creation that cannot be replicated, crafted through an artisanal process with the highest quality standards and obsessive attention to detail, just as in the 1960s workshops of renowned Italian coachbuilders. Among them was the renowned Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera, responsible for some of the most beautiful Alfa Romeos of all time and now plays a leading role in the production of the new 33 Stradale. Under the bonnet roars a 630hp twin-turbo V6 engine that offers exceptional performance: acceleration from zero to 62 mph in under three seconds and on to a top speed of 207mph (33km/h).

The Los Angeles show follows a series of prestigious events in which the 33 Stradale has taken centre stage. Its journey through North America began in August with Monterey Car Week, where the model debuted at some of the most exclusive events in California. These included the renowned Motorlux, where visitors experienced a blend of elegance and performance inspired by the world of aeronautics, from which the 33 Stradale is inspired; the refined event at Hagerty House, located on the enchanting coast at Pebble Beach; The Quail, a Motorsport Gathering at the Quail Lodge & Golf Club in Carmel Valley; and finally, an appearance at the iconic WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca circuit in Monterey.

The 33 Stradale was then on display at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles, one of the world’s greatest automotive museums, before appearing at MACCHINISSIMA - a celebration of Italian motoring culture that brought together classic, modern and custom cars and motorcycles in a vibrant atmosphere. The 33 Stradale was also on display at the headquarters of the Motoring Club of Los Angeles, a renowned association of car enthusiasts. The U.S. road trip culminated with the 2025 Concours at Wynn Las Vegas, one of the most exclusive events dedicated to automotive excellence and which attracted more than 20,000 enthusiasts and collectors from all over the world, where it was on display from 30 October through to 2 November.

Visitors to the Los Angeles Auto Show will also have the opportunity to admire the new Tonale, making its debut in the United States. The model represents the evolution of the brand's first C-SUV, enhancing its sporty character and the unmistakable appeal of Italian design. The new Tonale elevates its outstanding dynamic qualities, delivering a truly authentic Alfa Romeo driving experience through perfect weight distribution, the most direct steering in the segment, dedicated Brembo brakes and DSV electronic suspension that combine comfort and precision.

The bodywork of the new Tonale is even more iconic, featuring sculpted proportions and a wider wheel track, while the redesigned front end features the new concave badge and the updated trilobe, giving it a more striking presence. New 19 and 20-inch wheels reinterpret the stylistic heritage of Alfa Romeo with a contemporary flair, conveying strength and dynamism. The interior has also evolved in terms of style and perceived quality, with refined combinations of red leather or two-tone black and white Alcantara. The new Alfa Romeo Tonale also expands personalisation in its colour palette with three new metallic colours – Brera Red, Monza Green and Ocra – bringing the number of available colours to eight, further enhanced by the option of a contrasting black roof.

The Tonale confirms its innovative character with fully digital instrumentation featuring dual 12.3-inch and 10.25-inch displays, multicoloured ambient dashboard lighting, wireless connectivity and OTA updates. Level 2 driver assistance systems and a 360-degree camera elevate safety and convenience, while ventilated and heated seats, dual-zone climate control with automatic recirculation system and a 470-W Harman Kardon premium audio system ensure exceptional comfort.

The model on display at the Los Angeles Auto Show is a Tonale Sport Speciale in Brera Red equipped with an engine specific to the North American market: the 2.0-litre Turbo petrol engine with 268hp and torque of 295 lb-ft (approximately 401 Nm).

The Los Angeles Auto Show will from the 21-30 November at the Los Angeles Convention Centre. The 2025 edition will showcase new cars from over 30 brands, including a place of honour reserved for Alfa Romeo, a global brand that has long embodied the excellence of Made in Italy.

This year's edition promises to be one of the extensive yet, with over 50 models available for test drives. The event will unfold across 93,000 m2 of exhibition area in the Convention Centre, extending into the surrounding squares and streets. Thousands of visitors and over 5,000 journalists from over 50 countries are expected to attend this global event, which brings together the entire automotive ecosystem for ten days in the heart of California, the largest automotive market in North America.
